Experience an entertaining and relaxing hike on the "Gottfried Glechner Trail" in Gurten. This approximately 7.5 km circular hike takes you in the footsteps of the poet Gottfried Glechner, one of the most important dialect poets in the Innviertel region.

The hike begins in the center of Gurten. From here, you follow the well-signposted paths that initially lead you to the tranquil Gurtenbach stream.
Halfway up, the hike takes you up to the **Eichberg**. The way back takes you through shady woodland, which is particularly refreshing on hot days.

At the end of the hike, you return to Gurten, where you can end your hike in the village. Perhaps you will visit the **Gottfried-Glechner monument**, which commemorates the poet whose works were strongly inspired by nature and the region.
