HEIMKEHRERKAPELLE | movement arena INNVIERTEL

This hike around Roßbach takes you on a 6 km loop through idyllic landscapes and forest sections. The route starts in the center of Roßbach and takes you to the historic Heimkehrerkapelle chapel, a popular place of rest. The way back runs through dense forests and offers nature lovers a wonderful opportunity to discover the local flora and fauna.

From the village center, the trail leads you on gently ascending paths through meadows and fields. As you leave the village behind you, you can enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding countryside.

After around 3 kilometers, you will reach the Heimkehrerkapelle chapel, a quiet place for contemplation and reflection. The chapel was built in the 1950s to commemorate the returnees from the Second World War.
After visiting the chapel, the trail leads you back along gentle paths towards Roßbach. The way back is mostly through shady forests, which are pleasantly cool in summer.
