Beautiful tour mostly along the Feldaist.
At the starting point, the impressive Gothic church with its world-famous winged altar immediately catches our eye. However, we turn our backs on it and walk downhill through the village, cross the railway and turn left onto a dirt track. We walk downstream along the Feldaist to a small footbridge, cross the Aist and come to a small housing estate. Now we walk uphill, past 2 farmhouses and then another small settlement and then leave the settlement road to the left onto a field path. Here you also have the opportunity to take a detour to the Pienkenhof farm, known for its cultural offerings. The route now descends and we reach a traditional mill that has now become rare: the Klammühle. Flour, bread and pastries are still traditionally produced here. From now on, we head back in the opposite direction of the river to Kefermarkt or the starting point. A beautiful hike, where you walk along the Feldaist for the most part. Particularly suitable for dogs with a love of water. There is a farm shop at the farmhouses mentioned above. Please get in touch for more information.
