The Kefermarkter "Burgenweg" leads us to the so-called Dornach ruins and Weinberg Castle;
We walk downhill from the starting point, then along the Feldaist upstream, briefly along a road, then along a quiet country lane. We leave the Feldaist to the right and now walk along the Feistritz for a short time. We cross a road here, where there is also an opportunity for a rest. The path begins to ascend and suddenly we find ourselves in front of the small but impressive Dornach ruins. Unfortunately, it is privately owned and can only be viewed from the outside.Now we follow a remote residential road for a while and can enjoy the view into the distance towards the Alps. A few more metres in altitude follow, first downhill and then uphill again, and we soon arrive at the impressive Weinberg Castle. Here we can take a walk around the castle walls. Now it's just a short downhill section to the starting point. We pass the church of Kefermarkt with its world-famous winged altar.
