The route leads from the historic Traunfall, with its 600-year history of salt shipping (the most dangerous stretch for boatmen along the River Traun), through what is now the ‘Natura 2000’ European protected area via the ‘Kirleitn’ to Oberbuch, through Roitham am Traunfall and back to the starting point (5 km route).
