L3 Kleiner Bergrundweg

A beautifully marked circular trail for a short walk over the Leopoldschläger Berg with great views over the beautiful village of Leopoldschlag and into the neighbouring Czech Republic;

The hike leads across the beautifully designed market square along the Way of the Cross, past 2 game enclosures to the forest cross, where a beautifully designed power place with flowing drinking water from the springs of the Leopoldschläger water co-operative invites you to rest. We then follow the forest road to the Martinstein. The Martinstein is a rock formation made of Weinsberg granite and a natural monument. After a 10-minute walk, we leave the forest and have a wonderful view of the neighbouring Czech Republic. Passing the "Lias am Berg" holiday farm, we descend to Markt Leopoldschlag, where we walk past the Hafnerhaus and return to the starting point. The circular route is signposted in both directions. At the market square, two inns invite you to stop for a bite to eat.
