Description:
Starting and finishing in Fuschl am See, you run around the Fuschlsee counterclockwise. On the northern shore, you flow smoothly over wonderful forest paths along the shore and experience a "Caribbean flair" due to the bright turquoise-blue water. Through the marshy nature reserve, you soon reach the ascent to the Filbling. The climb is long, fortunately, as it offers a lot of joy along slightly rising root paths. At the summit, a unique view of the lake and the surrounding peaks finally unfolds. The downhill is initially fast, then becomes gentler and also passes the small Filblingsee, hidden in the forest, before you reach the start again near the town center.Directions:
The start is at the lakeshore directly after the Fuschl beach, following the markings of the "Fuschlsee circuit" along the lakeside path. These continue further to the natural bathing beach and finally to the junction to the Filbling at the "Jagdhof" castle in Fuschl. At the bus stop, you briefly cross the main road B158, then continue following the markings to the Filbling via Hinterberg. After the first descent from the summit at 1307 m, don’t miss the left turn towards Filblingsee. From there, the path changes to a forest road back to Fuschl.Safety guidelines:
