Schwarzensee-Bürglstein

Start: Strobl village square, round the Bürglstein to Schwarzensee

From Strobl village square to the Seeklause, go through the gate onto path no. 13, round the Bürglstein and turn off towards the playground in Schwarzenbach. Cross the car park and follow the road (for a short distance) towards Rußbach. After the bridge, turn left towards Grabnermühle, then take the Wirersteig (No. 29) – which has many steps – to Schwarzensee. Continue along the road to the car park. Here, turn right and walk 200 metres downhill to a fork in the path; take the right-hand path initially, then soon turn left onto the wide alpine path No. 30 back to the road. Cross the road and follow the path alongside the stream to the fork; there, turn right across the main road and continue along the Achenweg No. 29 towards Strobl, then back to the village square.
