Vom Langbathtal zum Vorderen Signalkogel und retour

Jagerbachl hiking car park – follow the forest track – after a 5-minute walk, turn right at a bridge – follow the uphill path to the next junction, turn left there – follow the forest track – continue straight on past a wooden shed (Futterstadl) – keep following the track – after just under an hour, you’ll reach the final climb to the summit of the Signalkogel.

Return route: Follow the forest road for about 150 metres; you will then see the forest path branching off to the right, which can be used in dry conditions.
Near the Jageralm, you’ll come across the Jageralmbach stream and the forest track running parallel to it; follow this to return to the starting point.
Of course, you could also take this route on the way there, but the ground should be dry due to the steepness of the slope. As a circular route, the route described here offers more variety.

Walking times: Jagerbachl – Vorderer Signalkogel via the forest road: approx. 1 hour; return route through the woods: approx. 45 minutes.
