The route takes you to remarkable museums such as the 1st Austrian Christmas Museum and the City Museum for nativity exhibitions and shops with Christmas gifts. A highlight of the route is also Advent at Lamberg Castle.

An incredible 14,000 Christmas tree decorations, 200 dolls and doll's houses, tea dolls and doll's toys from years gone by.
A special attraction is the ride on the adventure railway. Well strapped into armchairs, the ride takes you past show booths up to the angel workshop under the roof, where hundreds of angels are preparing for Christmas.

The highlights of the exhibition in the Palm House are the baroque Lamberg nativity figures and the so-called ‘Waggon Nativity Scene’ by Josef Seidl from Mühlviertel, which was specially made for the ‘Light into Darkness’ campaign.

This year, the Steyr Goldhaubengruppe is once again exhibiting the typical nail forging cribs of the Steyr and Enns Valley region in the official meeting room in Steyr town hall.
In addition to the works of art, the Goldhaubenfrauen offer homemade delicacies such as cookies, jams and jellies, Christmas handicrafts, folded paper stars and angels, as well as small nail-smith cribs, which can also be used as pictures, for sale. Coffee and delicious cakes as well as tasty soups will be on offer. A delicious surprise will also sweeten the exhibition for visitors. The proceeds from the sale will be donated to social causes.
