The ascent to the Hohe Dirn via the "old path" is also part of the Alpine Club Trail 467 and leads around the Schönstein to the Hamberg farm and the summit.
Hiking trail: HD 4
Directions:Starting from Losenstein on the Alpine Club Trail, this hike goes around the Schönstein, past Buder and the Brunner Cross. From the Hamberg farmhouse, continue over the Luagstadl up to the Hohe Dirn and the Anton Schosser Hut.
Tip:Climate-friendly to the National Park Region - Losenstein Station: By train, you are at the starting point for this hike in about 1 hour from Linz and about 3 hours from Vienna.
Safety guidelines:Adapt your routes to the current weather and avalanche reports and act accordingly to seasonal hazards in (alpine) terrain.

Echtes Hüttenflair, wie man es sich wünscht – gemütlich, herzlich und bodenständig. Die Anton Schosserhütte ist ein familienfreundlicher Ort für eine kleine Auszeit – für Groß und Klein. Dich erwarten hausgemachte Schmankerl aus der Region, kühle Getränke und ein Ausblick, der einfach guttut. Ob beim Wandern, Rodeln oder einfach zum Entspannen – hier oben auf 1.158 m bist du genau richtig, wenn du das Einfache und Echte liebst. Ins Oberstockwerk führt eine schmale Stiege zum Bettenlager.
