Through Florianigasse and then Kalvarienbergweg to the first chapel. Now left up the steps, and over the Malersteig down steps to the road, there left on the trail No. 24 to the snack station Aschinger and continue to the junction of the path coming up from Ried. Now follow the signposting No. 23 on the right to the Dorneralm and on to the 1782 m high summit.
Refreshment stops: Aschingerbauer, Hotel Schafbergspitze, Himmelspforte refuge.
