The trail begins at the market square in St. Wolfgang, past the fire station and gently uphill past the chapels to the beautifully situated Calvary Church. Wonderful views of Lake Wolfgangsee! Continue along the shady Malersteig towards the west (stamping point) and at the end of the path, steps lead you down to the road and the Hupfmühle. Starting from the road above the Hupfmühle, a scenic path leads you back to the village center via the Kalvarienbergweg.
