Irrseeradeln - Sommerholz

This route takes us over the last foothills of the northern Limestone Alps, the so-called Mondsee Flysch Mountains. One of the last elevations before the foothills of the Alps stretch flat northwards to the Danube is the so-called "Sommerholz". This hilly landscape is only around 15,000 years old and was created by glaciers during the last ice age. This tour is also a geological journey of discovery.
