Description:

The hiking trail leads from the Ternberg train station along the Bäckengraben stream to the Spielhofer Chapel and the Zeilermaier Chapel and past the Sternwirt inn to Dürnbach.

Directions:
The hiking trail follows the Bäckengraben stream to the Spielhofer Chapel in the Schattleiten district up to the fire station and the Zeilermaier Chapel. At the Güterweg, turn right and continue to the Sternwirt inn. After a short stretch on the country road, turn right over a meadow and through the forest to the composting facility. After a few meters, turn left again to the country road. After crossing, the trail leads flat along the Dambach stream to Dürnbach. On the return, the route goes via the Mayr farmhouse to Dambach to the Spielhofer Chapel and along the Bäckengraben stream back to the starting point.Tip:
Climate-friendly to the National Park region - Ternberg train station: By train, you reach the starting point for this hike in about 1 hour from Linz and in about 2.5 hours from Vienna.
