From the town square of Maria Neustift the path leads down to the Höllgraben, up to the Glasner Hut, and through the forest towards Sulzbach.

Hiking trail: E37

Directions:
This hiking trail connecting the communities of Maria Neustift and Sulzbach begins at the town square and immediately turns north at the Stubauer department store. Initially, it gently descends along the Foothills trail 404 down to the Höllgraben, where a footbridge crosses the creek. The path continues on a farm road to the Hauzlehen farmhouse, then always uphill across meadows. After the Vorderglasen farmhouse, the trail branches right and shortly after turns left on the hill to the ski lift parking lot. At a small chapel, you leave the Foothills trail, turn right, and walk on the lower driveway into the forest. After a climb, the path veers slightly right, then goes off-trail through the forest until reaching a small meadow again. You continue walking downhill on the meadow, then right on a forest trail to a raised hunting stand, further on keeping the meadow to the left until reaching the Koller house. For a short distance, you follow the road, then go left past the Schmiedhäusl and again through the forest down to the creek. Now begins the last ascent through the forest up to the Gein farmhouse, where you meet a farm road. You follow this briefly to the right and shortly after turn left. Across the meadow, you walk toward the village of Sulzbach.
