Hike on the W441 from the mountaineering village of Grünau in the Almtal via the "Gradnalm"
to "Steinbach am Ziehberg"

From the mountaineering village Grünau im Almtal in the direction of Schindlbach, at the junction In der Lahn / Schindlbach turn left (or straight ahead) over the bridge, briefly along the Stossbach, then left along the Hollerbach. On hiking trail 441 further up to Engeleck, further in the direction of Pfannstein (1423M), then left to Gradnalm (1240M). From the Gradnalm it goes in the direction of the hunting lodge "Sattlhald" Sattelhalter and further on the path 445 / K93 down to the parking lot on the state road.

How to get to the Almtal (to Grünau im Almtal):

We recommend that you travel by public transport!
by train: from Wels train station with the Almtalbahn (line 153) to Grünau im Almtal;
Numerous connections from Wels station to the main trains on the western line (line 101)
by bus: OÖVV bus line 533 Almsee - Grünau - Gmunden, stop "Grünau im Almtal, Gemeindeamt"

with the Traunstein Taxi Route 60 from Grünau station to the Enzenbach / Bergstrasse Farrenau stop.
To return with the Trauntein Taxi Route 70 from the Ziehberghöhe stop to the Pettenbach train station (or Steinbachbrücke).
For both routes, call the taxi center at least 1 hour in advance on the telephone number 050-422 1691 or order on the otaxi app.

by bike: bike path R11 Almtalradweg from Wels into Almtal to Grünau train station, leave your bike behind and continue by walking.

by foot: From the center or train station Grünau im Almtal you can hike through the center of Grünau and then along the Grünaubach and hiking trail B to the Enzenbachmühle, then over the bridge and left to the In der Lahn / Schindlbach junction!

by car:

From the center of Grünau, follow the signs to the Kasberg ski area, parking lot below (approx. 5km).
