This scenic hike leads around Ameisberg Mountain. Its special feature are the wonderful views towards Bavaria, the Bohemian Forest and the Alps. The highlight is clearly the lookout on Ameisberg Mountain at 940 m (the inn and lockout have been closed since 2017)Equipment:

Our family business is located in Mitternschlag at 800m above sea level north at the foot of the Ameisberg.
We offer traditional down-to-earth home cooking by appointment.
A cosy parlour as well as a small hall invite to a comfortable,
family get-together.
A special highlight is the "Fuchsbar".
It is located in the cellar of our inn and is used for various parties.
Fun and games are also provided for, with a fully automatic shop track
on our property.
The mountain herb trail and the Ameisbergrunde lead directly past our house.
