Hike to the eastern shore of Lake Hallstatt

Beautiful hike between mountain and lake

Start directly at the tourist office Bad Goisern. Walk right along Kirchengasse and then left to the Untere Marktstraße. Cross this and stay on Kurparkstraße for about 20 m before turning left into Gottlieb-Oberhauser-Straße.

The Perndanner-Promenade will take you to Ramsaustraße. Walk right over the Goisern bridge and then left along Hinlaufstraße. After a few minutes of walking, a path on the left leads down to the river Traun. Follow this path past the power station to Görbstraße. After a few meters a hiking trail leads you to the right next to the railroad to Stambach and further to Au. Cross the B166. You will now pass the Bakery Maislinger and the Metzgerwirt Vieh Heli. A small break for refreshment would be worthwhile here.
 
Then follow the Arikoglstraße for a few meters before you turn left into the hiking trail "Übers Maneck". At the end of the trail you will come to a crossroads. On the right you would reach the Untersee Lakeside Bathing Area. A jump into the beautiful Lake Hallstatt is recommended here and brings the longed-for cooling on hot summer days.

However, the tour continues along the road in the direction of Obersee - East bank trail. Enjoy the view of the lake and watch the glittering of the gentle waves in the sun. Some seats invite you to linger.

After a short time you will reach the end point of this hike: the place of happiness "s'Goiserer Seeplatzl" and the Uferwirt Seeraunzn. A break on the sun terrace is always worthwhile here.
You can return along the same path.
