The Valerieweg is an alpine trail. It originally ran from the forestry office to Langbathsee and was reserved for forest staff. Today this path is an important connection between the Forstamt bouldering area, Auboden, the Hochleckenweg 823 and the Taferlhöhe or Taferlklaussee. It can also be reached via the connection path 6a from the Haslach forest road.
This trail was named after Emperor Franz Josef's daughter, Archduchess Valerie.
This Valerieweg is NOT the same as the one that leads from Burgau to Eisenau next to the Burggrabenklamm.
