3 castles hiking trail

The tour starts in Waxenberg and leads to the Lobenstein castle ruins. Then it's back to Waxenberg before you hike to Piberstein Castle. The circular route ends back in Waxenberg.
The route consists of 50% asphalt and 50% gravel/natural ground.

This hike connects three impressive castles:

• Waxenberg castle ruins - a historic hilltop castle with great views
• Lobenstein castle ruins - a hidden ruin with a mystical flair
• Piberstein castle - a well-preserved castle complex with cultural events
