The Schafberg, with its 1783 metres of altitude, is one of the most spectacular natural sites in the Salzkammergut and the mystical Schwarzensee invites you to take a dip in the cool water during the tour.

Starting in St.Wolfgang, cycle on the route WO4 to the village of Russbach, where a short climb takes you up to Lake Schwarzensee. Continue, following the lakeshore, to where a further climb leads up to the Eisenaualm pastures. Cycle downhill towards St. Gilgen, staying on the cycle route WO4 until you reach the main road (Mondsee Bundesstraße No.154). Cross over the road and continue on the cycle path to St. Gilgen, then onwards to the village of Strobl, finally returning
to the starting point in St.Wolfgang.
