The Staxroither path in Mettmach was supplemented on a 2.5 km long section with large stone figures in the shape of birds. The stone figures were made from regional stone boulders and connecting parts made of steel. The starting point of the well-signposted "Stoavoglroas" is at the stone bird figure Brunhilde at the parking lot at inn z'Wimpling. Along the way there is a rest area at the edge of the forest.
