From the market square in St. Leonhard, the route leads downhill to the "Weltuntergangssteinen", which give the tour its name. Although farmers used to drive their hay wagons between the two stones, today there is only a narrow footpath. The northern (right-hand) of the two boulders is constantly moving towards the other. Legend has it that the world will end as soon as the two boulders touch.

From there, the route continues into the Stampfental valley. A short tarmac section is followed by a climb via Schwaighof to the foot of the Rehberg. The route continues via Gassis Heuboden (refreshment stop) to Langfirling, past the newly built village square with herb garden, carved statue of St Florian etc. (refreshment stop at GH Piber). (refreshment stop at GH Piber). After a brief look at St. Leonhard, the route takes a rapid descent into the Au and then back to the centre of St. Leonhard.

Now it's on to the second part of the figure of 8 via the Bründl Chapel to Ennsedt and downhill to the Groißbrücke bridge near the Aist. This is where the M10 meets the Tour de Alm and offers the opportunity to join it. With a view of the Prandegg ruins, the route continues via Haslach to Stiftung and via Dirnberg (magnificent landscape panorama) back to St. Leonhard.

The 8-bike form allows you to organise the tour in different variations: short tour (southern loop) or (northern loop), extension of the Tour de Alm, etc. .... In the centre of St. Leonhard there are refreshment stops and overnight accommodation available.
