Laufrunde - Halbmarathon Mondsee - St. Lorenz

Run the half marathon course!

Starting from the tourist office in Mondsee, we walk on the right-hand side of the large avenue of lime trees to the lakeside promenade. At the lakeside promenade, we keep to the right and reach the Alpenseebad. At the beach volleyball courts, we reach the main road and walk along it to the Eurospar supermarket. There we turn half-left into the villa estate and then walk along side streets through the small village of Schwarzindien. Before the last house in the settlement, we turn right and walk along the old railway line to the Wagnermühle mill. After a small bridge, we turn left and walk to the St. Lorenz church and on to the Drachenwand inn. Once at the inn, we turn right and continue straight on below the Drachenwand for a while until we reach the main road. There we turn right and continue along the main road until we reach the Gasthof Aichingerwirt. After the inn, we turn right and continue straight ahead. After a while we reach the old Ischl railway line, which we continue along until we reach another fork, where we turn right. We continue over a bridge, at the next fork we turn left and continue under the Drachenwand. We reach a large farm at a fork, turn left and reach the junction at the Wagnermühle again. From here we walk back to Mondsee along the familiar path.
