This beautiful, 12 km long "mill" route takes us to two well-known mills in the Mondsee-Irrsee region: the Erlachmühle (still in operation) and the Haidermühle.

The running route starts at the Mondsee-Irrsee tourist office right in the centre of Mondsee. The route leads over hill and dale through the romantic Helenental valley to the Erlachmühle mill and continues along the Zeller Ache river to Camp Mondseeland and Vorderau/Schwand. Here we make a wide loop and reach the MondSeeLand equestrian centre. We continue straight ahead and cross the Weißenstein settlement (Haidermühle). Before the Mondsee ice rink, we turn right and return to the Erlachmühle and back to Mondsee.

From Vienna via the west motorway A1 - Exit Mondsee.
From Carinthia via the Tauern motorway A10 towards Salzburg, then Exit Mondsee.
The starting point of the tour is in the centre of Mondsee - at the Tourist Office.
