Description:
Starting from Losenstein, this loop leads mainly on meadow and forest paths. Beautiful views to Losenstein and the castle ruins, the panorama of the National Park region and the mountains of the Hintergebirge invite you to take a rest.

Trail number: E75, E74a

Directions:
From the center of the villag, head up to the Losenstein indoor swimming pool, then along the road for a bit, from where you circle the mountain at the Riegl farm on hiking trail E74a to the Fatima Chapel.

From here, a detour to the cider fountain on the Ramlerhöhe is highly recommended.

Afterwards you continue the round again at the Fatima chapel and come back to the starting point.

Tip:
Climate-friendly to the National Park Region - railway station Losenstein: By train you can reach the starting point for this hike in about 1 hour from Linz and in about 3 hours from Vienna.

Equipment:
No gastronomy along the way, so bring drinks and a snack if needed.

Additional information:
During the blossoming of the fruit trees this hike is especially beautiful.
