Description:
This circular hike leads around the Größtenberg to the Gscheid (782m) and back to the starting point.

Trail number: E55

Directions:
The trail first leads flat in the forest on a forest road to a junction, where you turn left. Here the trail leads slightly uphill to the Gscheid (782m), which almost seems like an alpine pasture after the forest section. Here you turn left again and hike comfortably until you reach the road at Hollnbuchnersiedlung. Follow the road back to the starting point of the hike.

Tip:
At Hollnbuchnersiedlung we recommend - especially in spring and summer - a detour to the right to the orchid meadow (nature reserve).

Additional information:
The circular hiking trail spoils you with a magnificent view of the beautiful mountain scenery, e.g. the Hohe Dirn, Schiefersteingebiet and the Laussa wind farm.
