Description:
This hike leads from Trattenbach railway station through the museum village along the asphalted path steadily uphill to the Hinterweyrmaier farmhouse and from there steeply up to the Sulzböden, where the trail joins the 404/409 onward hiking trail.

Some variants offer the possibility for laps with magnificent views.

Directions:
From Trattenbach station, the trail leads through the Feitelmacher valley, past the stations of the museum village of the same name to the turnery and wire hut.

The trail continues steadily uphill via the asphalted path to the Hinterweyrmaier farmhouse and from there steeply up to the Sulzböden.


Here the hiking trail joins the 404/409 hiking trail and continues to the Grünburger Hütte.


Detour to Hochbuchberg (1,273 m)


Alternative: Via hiking trail no. 15 and via Gscheid into hiking trail no. 404/409 to the Sulzboden and on to the Grünburger Hut or via the Schreibbachfall (no. 21) and trail 480a to the Buchberg Hut and on along trail 480 to the Sulzboden.



Tip:
Many paths lead to the Grünburger Hütte and they can be combined into extended circular hikes with magnificent views.

From Graz: A9 Pyhrnautobahn > motorway exit Klaus > Grünburg > into the Ennstal valley

The Ennstalbahn runs between Linz and Weißenbach-St. Gallen.
