Family high mountain hike to the lookout point / Herrentisch
From the Almtalerhaus you hike towards the small Ödsee lake for approx. 400 metres on a forest road before following a steadily ascending path towards the Herrentisch.There are marvellous views along the way of the Ödsee lakes and the surrounding peaks.
As it only takes 40 minutes to reach the viewing point, this is also a nice hike to do with children. But still be careful... You should be sure-footed!
After the summit experience, you can cool off in the Ödseen lakes!
