This hike connects two pilgrimage chapels - and leads from the Gahberg Chapel to the Richtberg Chapel.
At the Kreuzing Alm/Reindlmühl intersection , the route branches off to the right and follows the road a short distance slightly downhill to the sign pointing toward the Richtberg. The trailhead is narrow and steep.
The trail then leads through the forest. After a long climb, you’ll reach the forest road that leads to the pilgrimage chapel. There’s a special spot there to linger. The chapel invites you to pause and reflect, and offers a magnificent view of the Traunstein and Lake Traunsee.
