This trail is not difficult

The Sun Trail starts also at the sport center Gosau. It goes on the left side of the river "Gosaubach" to the "Mittertal". You pass the hotel Gosauerhof and the farmers market, which is just open on friday. Befor you reach the hotel Sommerhof, you pass the Gosausee Landstraße. On the other side of the valley, the sunny side, you go back again. You will pass the inn Kirchenwirt and the inn Brandwirt befor you reach the starting point, the sports center.

from Villach:
Tauern motorway to exit “Eben im Pongau”, via the B166 Pass Gschütt federal road to Gosau

The cross-country ski trails in Gosau can be used free of charge. There is a charge for the parking spaces at the sports centre, recyclables collection center and castle park.
