The Labenberg Mountain on the western side of the Postalm plateau is very popular and is an easy mountain to ski on.
Ascent: From the Postalm plateau, 1½ hours. From Car Park 1, go gently uphill in a westerly direction along the no. 1 ski lift to the level area called the Innerlienbachalm. Cross over, onto a forest road which leads upwards through the woods then bear right and go over a steep, open slope to a saddle. From there climb steeply, following the East ridge up to the summit.
Descents: A) Via the eastern slope to the Postalm plateau. A wonderful run leading down from the summit over the eastern slope to a saddle then north east via a steep slope down to the forest edge. The Innerlienbachalm plateau is soon reached by following a path, and, by going northeast, you come to the Postalm plateau Car Park.
B) Via the southern slope to the Postalm plateau. This is a steep descent which should only be undertaken in favourable snow conditions (Firn snow). It is a wonderful downhill ski run leading southwards from the summit to the forest edge. Here, bearing a little to the left, it reaches a trough, which should be crossed, and onto a wide path along which you come to a hut. From thereon the path is flat until it reaches a fork. Now straight ahead to a bridge which meets the road coming from Abtenau. Staying left you should soon reach the lower Car Park on the Postalm plateau.
