The tour starts at the railway station, where there is also a car park. There are also entry points in Hirschbach at Zülowplatz or in Waldburg at the town square.
The cycle tour is signposted in both directions.

The journey begins in the direction of Hirschbach, passing between Trölsberg and Kammermaierberg. In Hirschbach, you can visit the farmhouse furniture museum. Hirschbach is also known for its Steinbloss houses in the Mühlviertel. The route continues via Guttenbrunn, past Hirschbach airfield via Lahrndorf to Waldburg. In Waldburg, a visit to the parish church with its Gothic winged altars is well worth a stop. Afterwards, you return to the starting point at Freistadt railway station via the Marreithersiedlung.
