Above the rooftops of Bad Goisern on Lake Hallstatt
At an altitude of 1,000 m to 1,200 m above sea level , there are four high-altitude trails with a total length of 26 kilometers.
The high-altitude trail center above the rooftops of Bad Goisern on Lake Hallstatt offers circuits ranging from easy to challenging with a unique view of the Goisern valley to Lake Hallstatt and the Dachstein massif.
First, a moderately steep climb of around 1 kilometer takes you to the upper forest road on the Mure.
This is followed by 1.5 km of hilly, gently sloping terrain through the Mure and along the forest road, which can be walked in both directions.
We recommend:
One kilometer of ascent only for athletically trained skaters! The rest of the route is suitable for skating in both directions.
