Characteristics

Traditional climbing on beautiful routes of moderate difficulty. The most rewarding ascents are on the west and south faces of the three peaks. The north face of the main peak and the northwest ridge of the Seeturm were first ascended as early as the fall of 1938.

Approach: About 50 minutes

The approach to the Adlerspitz follows hiking trail No. 824 from the Kienklause inn toward the Hochleckenhaus. At the Niedere Rast, a trail branches off to the left and, after crossing a gravel gully, reaches the base of the Seeturm. To reach the routes to the middle and main summits, climb a short distance up along the walls. The descent from the main summit is best via the standard route (difficulty 2+). From the Seeturm, rappel down through the South Gorge.
