Climbing area Steinerner Mann

The climbing area Steinerner Mann in the Höllengebirge is a wild rocky landscape with many peaks.

From the car park at the Hochlecken ski lifts or the Taferlklause-Hochleckenlift bus stop, follow the Valerieweg to the Steinerner Mann climbing area, which will take around one hour. This area is defined by a wealth of tors and rock needles in the vicinity of the Hochleckenhaus. The Großer Steinerner Mann, the fifth tor offering challenging climbs of difficulty grade V and above, is accessed by descending directly from Hochleckenhaus in a northeasterly direction.
