Waldaist-Tal

The tour starts in St. Leonhard and first leads westwards to the Stampfenbach stream. Follow this in a southerly direction until you reach the Waldaist. Follow the Waldaist as far as Hohensteg and from here follow the Aist southwards. Cycle through Schwertberg and turn right at the bridge in Obersebern. First follow the Danube for a while in Mauthausen, make a detour to St. Georgen, turn left there towards Abwinden and cross the Danube at the power station. Follow the path to the railway line and then cycle past the sewage treatment plant and the Ausee lake back to the Danube and then follow the Traun through Linz to Marchtrenk.
