Above the natural gem Gleinkersee is the Seespitz Mountain. And exactly from Gleinkersee you hike to the Seespitz about the Michael-Kniewasser-Steig. You start at the Gleinkersee parking and go to the lake shore. Now go right the way along the shore to the opposite side. Here is the trail number 292 goes right up to the Seegraben.
In a trail fork, go left and continue on Michael-Kniewasser-Steig with the trail number 292 to Seespitz with great panorma and direct views of the Gleinkersee.
