Description: June to September - if snowfree
Magnificent round tour to the red-white-red summit cross
A scenically unique round tour via the south-east ridge to the Warscheneck with descent via the Toten Mann and Brunnsteinersee.
The ascent continues via some easy climbing sections (difficulty level I) up to the Widerlechnerstein. The trail then follows the course of the ridge up to the secured passages (A/B). At the summit of the Warscheneck, you can take a long break with an impressive panoramic view.
From the summit, the marked hiking trail continues to the Toten Mann. At the Rote Wand saddle, the path branches off to the right to the Brunnsteinersee lake. From there, the way back leads to the mountain station of the Wurzeralm funicular.
