A bike ride around the Irrsee is one of the absolute classics in the Salzkammergut.
Get yourself a bike and enjoy cycling around the Irrsee lake a nature protected area. Our tour starts in the town centre of Mondsee and leads passing by the stadion into our scenic landscape. After few kilometers we meet the banks of the Irrsee lake. Just follow the quayside around the lake.

by train:
Strasswalchen (or Oberhofen) train station – 14 km to Mondsee (public bus)
or
Salzburg train station – 30 km to Mondsee (public bus)
by car:
From Germany: Coming from Munich on the A8 in the direction of Salzburg, then on the A1 in the direction of Linz/Vienna. After 30 kilometers, take the Mondsee exit.
From Vienna: drive on the A1 in the direction of Salzburg to the Mondsee exit.
From Italy: take the A10 to Salzburg, there you turn onto the A1 in the direction of Linz/Vienna, after 30 kilometers you take the Mondsee exit.
