Here you can see a beautiful panorama of the entire region and the mountains of the Salzkammergut.

The parking lot at the dog training area in Thalham is the starting point of the hike. Go left in the direction of Lichtenberg along the asphalt road. At the junction of Lichtenberg and Klauswald keep left and follow the gravel road for about 2.5 km until you reach the Hubert-Gantioler path, which goes uphill to the right of the forest road.
At the end of the Hubert-Gantioler path you cross the forest road and walk along the edge of the forest and the game reserve until you reach the village of Lichtenberg, which lies on a beautifully situated high plateau. After the Berggasthof Danter at the crossroads to Weißenkirchen, turn right in the direction of the Attergauer Aussichtsturm parking lot and continue downhill until you reach the crossroads with the forest road, where you turn left. After about 800 meters turn right and walk steadily downhill to Kogl to the carpentry Mair-Zeininger. Then keep right and follow the road to the parking lot of the dog school.

Special feature: Attergau lookout tower, magnificent view, mountain sun,
forest idyll, Hubert-Gantioler-Weg, named after the world record holder,
who set the world record in the 24-hour mountain run in 2003 (12,100 vertical meters, 145 km)
