Enjoy a great cross-country skiing experience on the easy, 6.3 km long Flohwiesen loop!
After a 3 km ascent by car from St. Agatha, you will reach the park area at the "Flohwiese" parking lot about 300 m after the entrance to the Halleralm.
In summer, this is also the starting point of the Tolerance Trail - an interesting themed trail about Protestant history.
The slightly hilly trail, which is suitable for skating and diagonal skiing, takes you through the wintry moorland landscape of the "Flohwiese".

With this 35-metre-long and 6-metre-wide suspension bridge , you cross the so-called Schwarzenbachlochzwang on your cross-country skis.
After a slight ascent through the forest, you reach the link to the Kriemoos circuit.

The Flohwiesen loop starts in the lower park area at the "Flohwiese" parking lot approx. 300m after the Halleralm entrance.
Winter tires are a basic requirement in the winter months, snow chains are recommended on snowy roads.

From Salzburg:
Exit Thalgau via the B158 federal highway towards Bad Ischl, in Bad Ischl take the B145 Salzkammergut road towards Bad Goisern.
From Linz:
Regau highway exit onto Salzkammergut Straße B145 in the direction of Gmunden and Bad Ischl to Bad Goisern.
from Vienna/Graz:
Liezen highway exit onto B320, in Trautenfels turn onto Salzkammergut Straße B145 to Bad Goisern.
from Villach:
Tauernautobahn to exit "Eben im Pongau", via B166 Pass Gschütt Bundesstraße through Gosau, turn left at the Gosaumühle junction towards Bad Goisern.
By train
Attnang-Puchheim - Stainach-Irdning line:
Stops Goisern Jodschwefelbad, Bad Goisern train station, Steeg / Gosau.
By bus
Bus 541 & 542 (Bad Ischl - Lake Gosau):
