On the Zwergerlweg in Steinbach am Attersee, a nice path through the forest, many dwarfs and other fairy tale characters such as Little Red Riding Hood and the wolf or a witch in a mill are waiting for curious little visitors.
From the Auboden parking space in Kaisigen, you can walk straight to us on hiking trail number 3. The dwarf signpost Hansl-Mühle shows you the way to the Zwergerlweg. Following the dwarfs and fairy tale characters, you hike through the forest to Feld.
From there it goes either back over the Zwergerlweg.
If you want to walk this route as a circular route in about an hour over almost 2 km, the best place to start is the mill Steinbacher Hausmühle. From the mill you go straight up over the old Großalmstraße, at the top you turn right at the first possibility onto the gravel path and follow this path until you come to the Zwergerlweg sign. After the Zwergerlweg, turn right down into the village of Kaisigen and follow the road down to the starting point. On the round trip you will pass Cameroon sheeps and with luck you may discover a zebra, donkeys or alpacas.
The Zwergerlweg is not suitable for prams as there are narrow passages, steps and roots on the path through the forest.
