From the main square, the hiking trail follows the Färberbach creek up to the watershed between the Steyr and Enns valleys and continues to Sandner Linde. From there, the route number 37 leads further to Kaiblinger Kogel.
Hiking trails: 10, 10a, 37
Directions:From the main square, you walk downhill towards the town parking lot. At the hairpin bend below the parking lot, hiking trail no. 10 and then 10a run along the Färberbach creek into the beautiful landscape of the Steyr valley, which is characterized by field copses, orchards, and several wetlands. The small fish ponds along the trail invite you to have a first rest. The hike continues on well-maintained paths up to the watershed between the Steyr and Enns valleys and further to the Gasthaus Sandner Linde.
Several small monuments (wayside crosses and chapels) line the path through the Alpine foothills, where you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view.
The return route is possible via Polsterer Kogel.
Because of the lovely creek landscape that invites play, this hike is highly recommended for children.
