Cycling in the north of the Hansbergland
The far north lives up to its name: from St. Peter am Wimberg you ride down to the Große Mühl. Through the villages of Hollerberg and Kasten up to St. Stefan am Walde. From one of the highest points in Granitland, you have a magnificent view over the whole country, all the way to the Dachstein. Continue along the Nordwaldkammweg to Guglwald, Piberstein, down to the Steinerne Mühl and back up to the Wimberg ridge. Via the villages of Penning, Grubdorf and past the Bründl Chapel, the route climbs up to the Hansberg (850 m). Via St. Johann am Wimberg you cycle past the former Sagmühle and Krenmühle mills back to St. Peter. Please get in touch for more information.
