The bird trail was created by private individuals and is particularly suitable for children. From the market square, walk westwards down the Marktberg to Glasau to the Kitzmüller butcher's shop. Hiking trail no. 70 towards Pöllersmühle begins here. At the end of the settlement, the bird nature trail begins to Pöllersmühle. Continue straight on to Zwettl and the Lobenstein ruins. However, we turn right and follow path no. 72 to Oberrudersbach. In Oberrudersbach we come to the Danube-Moldau hiking trail no. 160. We return to Hellmonsödt on the tarmac road.
