55 km on the Nordwaldkammweg (section from Dreisesselberg to Guglwald) through the Bohemian Forest adventure region!
The Nordwaldkammweg is part of the "European long-distance hiking trail E 6" and leads from the Dreisesselberg in Bavaria (border area between Bavaria, Austria and the Czech Republic) to the Nebelstein in Lower Austria. Many sections of the trail run along the border with the Czech Republic. The highest peaks are the Dreisesselberg (1312 m), the Plöckenstein (1379 m), the Sternstein (1122 m), the Viehberg (1111 m) and the Nebelstein (1015 m).The starting point of these trips is located in Germany. Ca. 45 km away from Schwarzenberg am Böhmerwald. There is public transportation until Schwarzenberg. Afterwards you have to continue by taxi.
