Fitnessweg Predigtberg Nr. 01

The hiking trail leads around the Predigtberg, on the summit of which the Susi Wallner lookout point was built. The lookout offers an impressive view far out into the Machland plain, the Danube valley, the Alpine chain from the Schneeberg to the Ennstal mountains, the Prielgruppe, the Traunstein and the Dachstein, across to the Salzburg Alps and over the Mühlviertel mountains to the Bohemian border. Popular as a walking trail, the very wide hiking trail has only a very slight incline. Twelve fitness machines are set up along the hiking trail. The exercises will help you to improve your mobility, balance and control skills. About halfway through the hike, a wonderful viewing point invites you to take a break. There is plenty of seating with a table, a children's playground with swings, a wooden house with a slide, a climbing pole and a spring rocker, as well as a panorama board. Suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. The path is cleared in winter. Refreshment stops - GH Schwarz (closed on Mondays), GH Janko (closed on Tuesdays and Mondays), Café Konditorei Honeder.
