The trout route has the path number 2. Starting from St. Aegidi, the route leads via Kößlau and Steinedt to Reiting. From there, mainly on a forest and meadow path to Mühlbach to the trout circus. In addition to the tame trout, a sawmill from 1820 and a mill including the living quarters of the miller's family await you, giving you an insight into life in the olden days.

In the village of Flenkental you will reach a particularly beautiful view of the Danube. You finally return to the starting point via Pamingerhof.
